INTRODUCING MEMORIES & MEMOS from Mona in Maine... Welcome to my Blog

Memories & Memos from Mona in Maine

In case you haven't guessed from the title, I love alliteration!  I love poetry.  I love words.  Yes, I even love grammar!  In school a few centuries ago (well, at least a few decades ago!) I loved diagramming sentences.  I also love putting jig saw puzzles together.  Diagramming a sentence is like putting a puzzle together.  Each word or piece has its own place in the whole.  It's fun finding that exact puzzle piece that fits into the next piece and it's fun fitting the words into the puzzle of the diagram..

Call me strange or weird!  That's okay!  I'm fine with that!  If you read on and follow my blog, you may even find proof for your thoughts!  But that's okay, too!  I won't judge you if you don't judge me!  Deal?  Deal!  You don't have to agree with everything I say.  And you won't!  I love that we can agree to disagree at times.  Respect is the key and I believe in respect.

I respect your opinions because they are your opinions.  I believe each person is unique and has an innate right to his or her own opinions.  That's one of the things that makes us individuals and unique from everyone else.  When we disrespect other folks' opinions, we're basically saying that they are not worthy of thinking for themselves.

Well, enough of that.  I think you get where I'm going with this bunny trail.  And there will be bunny trails.  Bunny trails often lead me to thoughts and opinions that even I don't realize I have until I get there!  So I like bunny trails!  I could name this blog Bunny Trails and it would be very appropriate, but then where would the alliteration be?  Gone!

Anyhow, I hope you have enjoyed my Bunny Trails today and I hope you join me on future "Bunny Trails with Mona."  See?  It just doesn't have the same ring, now does it?  I'll have to work on that one!  Oh, well!  Have a great day all and I hope to see you again soon!

And as Red Skelton (if you don't remember him, look him up on the internet!) always said at the end of his tv show, "Good Night and God Bless."  (Well, it's always night SOMEwhere, so I reserve the right to say it here!  :-) )

Romans 15:33 May the God of peace be with you all. Amen
